Multidisciplinary professional leads with passion for conservation
MORRISVILLE, NC – Tiffany Preddy, PE, is being honored with the American Council of Engineering Companies of NC (ACEC/NC) Young Professional of the Year award in recognition of her achievements and professionalism in support of the engineering industry in North Carolina. By way of this honor, she is also nominated as one of two representatives from North Carolina for the National Young Professional in Engineering honor awarded by the American Council of Engineering Companies in Washington, DC.
“Working at the intersection of civil engineering and water resources, Tiffany leads STV’s drainage designs for transportation programs across North Carolina,” says Claire Brinkley, VP of Transportation South/Central at STV. “Early on at STV, Tiffany stepped up to assist our team through a leadership transition because she believed in their work and wanted to see this team grow exponentially,” continues Brinkley.
Preddy is also dedicated to the conservation of North Carolina’s waterfowl, participating in Ducks Unlimited, where she turns her passion for painting into fundraising for the organization. “Her colleagues here at STV are proud of this well-deserved recognition and honored to have Tiffany working alongside them,” shared Brinkley. “Recognizing superior young talent and witnessing their passion develop into successful projects and effective teamwork inspires us all,” commented Iona Thomas, 2025 President of ACEC/NC.
