2025 by the Numbers: Giving Back Through Our Pledge 1% Commitment

As we close out 2025, we’re proud to reflect—intentionally and in real time—on how Raleighwood Media Group + Raleighwood Event Group invested beyond business this year.

As a Pledge 1%–aligned company, we commit at least one percent of our business to supporting our community through a combination of financial contributions, in-kind support, and donated expertise. In 2025, that commitment showed up consistently throughout the year, often behind the scenes, and always with intention.

Our 2025 Impact Snapshot

In 2025, Raleighwood Media Group:

  • Contributed more than $4,000 in cash and in-kind support
  • Donated 41.5 hours of pro bono professional services
  • Supported 30+ community organizations, causes, and initiatives

Where Our Giving Went

Our financial and in-kind contributions supported a wide range of organizations aligned with our people, our work, and our clients. These included local and regional nonprofits such as Shield NC, Note in the Pocket, The Women’s Center, Wreaths Across America, Our Lady of Lourdes Raleigh Color Run, NC Modernist, Friends of Wake County Animal Center, Kayak for the Warriors, Bourbon Women Foundation, The Film Collaborative, and Parkinson’s Foundation, among others.

Education and innovation were also a major focus in 2025. We invested in North Carolina State University through multiple gifts supporting student-focused funds, athletics, conferences, and institutional funds—including sponsoring the Blue Economy Workshop held in Morehead City, the Chancellor’s Fund to celebrate the installation of Chancellor Kevin Howell, and Wolfpack Women in Philanthropy‘s programming.

We continued our client-birthday-giving tradition as well, directing donations in honor of clients to organizations such as the V Foundation for Cancer Research, Second Chance Pet Adoptions, CASA, Miracle League, and Chatham Education Foundation—a simple but meaningful way to connect generosity with relationships.

Donated Time and Expertise

In addition to putting funds towards organizations we admire, we also provided ongoing in-kind support by covering marketing, web design, printing, software, email distribution, and event-related costs for nonprofit partners, including Garner Local Heroes, Good Barrels of the Triangle, Break the Silence 5K, and Turkey Ball, helping ensure their fundraising and outreach efforts could happen efficiently and effectively.

Beyond dollars, our team donated 48 hours of pro bono professional services in 2025 to support completed projects for Garner Local Heroes, Good Barrels of the Triangle, Shield NC, the Turkey Ball at Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Burning Coal Theatre Company. This work included marketing, communications, digital support, and event-related services—areas where our expertise can meaningfully extend an organization’s reach and capacity.

Looking Ahead

Our Pledge 1% commitment isn’t about a single campaign or a year-end moment. It’s about showing up consistently, responding to real needs, and using the tools we have—time, talent, and resources—to support the work happening all around us.

As we head into 2026, we’re deeply grateful for the clients, partners, and community organizations who make this work possible. Your trust allows Raleighwood Media Group to invest beyond business—and to do so with intention.

Here’s to continuing the work, together.
