Press Release: Tazza Kitchen Owners to Open The Granite Grill, a New Full-Service Restaurant in West Raleigh’s GlenLake Development
Big Kitchen Hospitality announces plans for a new restaurant at West Raleigh’s GlenLake, a Highwoods development, located at 4251 Parklake Avenue in Raleigh. Slated to open this winter, The Granite Grill will be situated directly across from the new Crooked Hammock Brewery, up the hill from Crabtree Mall, where Creedmoor Road turns into Edwards Mill.
“Tazza Kitchen has been a part of the Raleigh community for over twelve years. We opened at Village District in 2014 and followed with our second location at Stone Creek Village in Cary in 2016. We have a tenured and talented team here and have been looking to continue our investment in the area,” said partner John Davenport. “We share in the continued interest and buzz around West Raleigh, along with Crooked Hammock, Jeff’s Bagel Run, and Wong’s Tacos.”

The Granite is an upscale, casual restaurant with a relaxed, neighborhood feel. Comfortable booths, an energetic bar, a spacious patio, and private dining create intimate spaces for casual weeknight dinners, business lunches, or special occasions. The menu showcases timeless classics such as grilled seafood and steaks, signature burgers, hearty salads, and specialty entrées. The classic cocktail sections feature Old Fashioneds, Martinis, and Margaritas. The 5,135 square foot, full-service restaurant will seat 147 inside, including 19 bar seats, and a private dining space that can seat up to 28. The Patio will accommodate around 50 seats. The Granite will serve lunch Tuesday through Sunday and dinner nightly. The group opened the original Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, last November.
The company is working with Louis Cherry Architecture, Gateway Building Company, and Kilian Engineering Inc.
