Our 2023 Pledge 1% Commitment Highlights Investing Beyond Business

At Raleighwood Media Group + Raleighwood Event Group, giving back isn’t limited to year-end check writing—it’s an ongoing commitment woven into how we do business. As a Pledge 1%–aligned company, we believe investing our time, resources, and expertise beyond our own walls strengthens the communities we serve and the work we do.

In 2023, we invested $1,865.87 in donations and materials to support causes and organizations making a meaningful impact across our region. This total includes direct financial contributions as well as in-kind support, such as gift card donations to favorite local businesses for nonprofit auction inventories and pre-paid printing and supplies for fundraiser events. These contributions may not always be visible, but they play an essential role in helping organizations raise funds and advance their missions.

Beyond financial and material support, our team contributed 25 hours of pro bono professional services in 2023. We were proud to partner with regional nonprofit organizations, including Garner Local Heroes, Shield NC, and the Lake Gaston 911 Task Force, among others. Through communications, marketing, and creative services, we were able to support organizations doing important work and extend our expertise where it could make a difference.

Our Pledge 1% commitment is intentionally flexible—allowing us to respond to real needs in real time. Some years that means more financial giving; others it means donating time, materials, or professional services. What remains constant is our belief that business can—and should—be a force for good.

As we reflect on 2023, we’re grateful for the clients, collaborators, and community partners who make this work possible. Your trust in Raleighwood allows us to invest beyond business and support causes that align with our values.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to continuing this commitment and building even greater impact in the years ahead.
