Recent Print Ad Work: Babylon Restaurant & Melrose Knitting Mill

What happens when a client calls on Tuesday about a print ad deadline for the following day? We get right to work, that’s what!

Our clients at Babylon Restaurant and the historic Melrose Knitting Mill special events and wedding venue reserved ad space in Triangle Downtowner Magazine‘s upcoming “wedding and special events venue” issue and the deadline was quickly approaching, so we jumped into Adobe InDesign and started working on a piece using the professional high-quality photography we already had on hand from these special spaces and started brainstorming a few quick phrases that would be convey some of the important aspects that brides and event planners consider during the venue selection process.

We wanted to make sure to convey that both Babylon and Melrose are adaptable venues for both small, intimate dinners – as well as extravagant, lavish affairs with hundreds of guests. And of course, we had to highlight the fantastic food and beverage that comes out of the Babylon kitchen and the professional event management that is exclusively provided at Melrose.

We quickly sent it over to client for review and were thrilled to hear they loved it and approved it to be sent to the publication on their behalf – in print-ready format, delivered to the publication’s specifications.
