Whether you’re hosting a swanky dinner party, organizing a thrilling golf tournament, or planning a fun cocktail class, setting reminders for your events has never been simpler.
Plus, managing your social media presence effectively is the key to staying ahead of the curve in today’s digital landscape. With Instagram’s event reminders, you’re not just posting and hoping for the best – you’re actively engaging your audience and giving them a gentle nudge to join in on the fun.
Let’s Talk Logistics
Setting up reminders for your events is a breeze. All you need is a professional Instagram account (which, let’s face it, is a must-have for any serious marketer). From there, just follow the steps below. I’ve even attached a video for all of my fellow visual learners!
- Create a new Instagram Feed post.
- Tap “Add Reminder” under New Post.
- Input your Event Title and select your Start Time (you can also include an optional End Time).
- Finish creating your post and tap “Share.”
And that’s it! Once your post is live, your followers can easily opt into receiving reminders by tapping the bell icon at the bottom left corner. And what happens next? Well, they’ll get not one, not two, but three notifications to ensure they don’t miss out on your fantastic event:
- An activity feed notification 24 hours before the event.
- An activity feed notification and push notification 15 minutes before the event.
- An activity feed and push notification at the time of the event.
