It’s that time of year where we’re all looking ahead to 2018 and before it gets to be too close to the end of the year, I want to take just a minute to talk about our planned billable hour rate increase.
For our existing clients, you’ll be excited to know that our 2018 rate increase does not apply to your existing projects or contract. 🙌 (Insert “Woot” here!)
Talking about increasing prices is a sensitive subject and not one that I’m particularly excited about, but I am happy with the growth and additional skill sets that our team continues to bring to our clients and am confident our rates remain some of the most competitive you’ll find.
Our consultative rate for ad hoc, one-time, or agreements less than six months will remain the same at $100 per hour.
For new clients, with contracts or projects beginning on or after January 1, 2018, our hourly rate on all agreements six-months or longer will be $75 per hour.
Since finishing my master’s degrees a little over a year ago now, I’ve continued to invest in our capabilities here at Raleighwood Media Group + Raleighwood Event Group: talent (Hey, Tara! Hey, Mary Keith!), training, technology, advanced reporting capabilities, and even the amount of non-billed time we spend helping propel our clients towards their next big success.
I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve been producing for nearly 10 years and believe it or not, this is only the second time I’ve raised rates since starting up shop way back when. (I won’t embarrass myself by mentioning just how little I was charging when I first ventured into this biz… but for those of you who started with us so many years ago – thank you! Please consider those incredibly low auto-billing rates you’ve been grandfathered into your “early adopter” investment return. 😉)
If you’re reading this and happen to have an open proposal from our team in your email – now would be a great time to kick things off! For clients who onboard by December 31, 2017, you’ll still be grandfathered in under our current rates. And if you’ve been hanging back waiting to engage us… the clock is ticking!
