Two posts in less than 24 hours… I am doing excellent so far on my resolution to pay attention to this poor little professional blog that lately has taken a spot on the back burner. With that introduction aside, here’s the dish.
Textiles and enginnering majors may cringe when they see this, but we learned it for a reason folks! The Gantt Chart is back – and in a big way. What’s useful about this in real estate particularly? Two big components I see: 1 – getting everything on-track and sticking to a better schedule to get the firm launched and operating, 2 – investment properties where you’re “flipping” on a schedule.
So who’s to credit? This is probably the most degrees I’ve gotten away from a blog in quite some time, but here we go! I first saw the post on YoungEntrepreneur about Time Magazine’s “The World’s Top 50 blogs”… which listed LifeHacker (“Lifehacker is full of tips, shortcuts, downloads, web sites, do-it-yourself projects, and how-to’s for getting small things done and moving on with life.” – YE), which in turn took me to The Gannt Chart… IN EXCEL!
(Adrianne may be the only person on the planet who will appreciate this as much as I do!)
So to my fellow perpetual planners everywhere… enjoy!
